The Black biosphere

All Young Kings will graduate as Public Figures who will influence their communities

The Black Biosphere is an oasis where Young Kings become Public Figures. Public Figures are critical thinkers, communicators, creators, and conquerors. The Young Kings will analyze the problems in their community, and develop strategies to assist and make a positive impact.

A Public Figure must understand and prioritize their own physical, mental, and emotional well-being in order to connect with the community. Young Kings will learn engaging ways to empathize with their communities to advocate for solutions regarding mental and physical health challenges and food disparities.

Health & Wellness

Public Figures must know who they are and the communities they serve. By demonstrating strong self-awareness and leadership skills, Public Figures can inspire and motivate others to act and make a positive impact in their own communities and beyond.

Agency & Advocacy

A Public Figure must understand root causes of community-based disparities and how resources are allocated in order to better serve the community’s needs. Community Empowerment learning experiences place Young Kings within their communities, engaging with community leaders to bring about sustainable change.

Community Empowerment

A Public Figure must be able to articulate the issues to galvanize the community to make change. Through the art of Storytelling, young kings will use their voice to get the attention of the larger audience to ultimately affect the change to bring innovative solutions.
